FTP Instructions

You were given you FTP server information when you created your domain.
Your FTP server should be your domain name.
Your FTP login should be the username issued in your welcome e-mail.
Your FTP password is the one from your welcome e-mail.

Uploading Files

To upload to your web space before your domain registration or transfer is complete please use your IP address as the Host name in your ftp program.

When you log in via FTP you will need to tell your FTP software to change directory to /domain.com (/ followed by your domain name) If your software allows you to set an initial directory then set it to /domain.com and you will not have to do this each time you log in.

You will then see a list of directories. Your web pages go in the one called www.

Customers using Frontpage do not have FTP access to their accounts and must upload via Frontpage.
